Highground was a settlement on Gorse which housed a spaceport. Highground was near Shaketown, a settlement which housed the Moonglow Polychemical refinery. The Imperial Count Denetrius Vidian commandeered a Hoverbus and traveled to the Highground spaceport after his shuttle Truncheon had been blown up by the dissident miner Skelly. Upon reaching the Highground spaceport, Vidian's second shuttle Cudgel was blown up by Skelly. He was also accosted by Gord Grallik, who was intent on seeking vengeance for his wife Lal Grallik's murder.
