The Mining Guild TIE Fighters were TIE Fighters flown by the Mining Guild to protect their refineries. They had a distinct yellow color scheme, clearly delineating that they were not in direct service of the Galactic Empire. They also had a notch cut in their stabilizers, allowing for improved visibility at the cost of their maneuverability. They also seemed to be fitted with life support systems, as Rodians could pilot them without wearing sealed flight suits.
