Onderon was a jungle world located within the Inner Rim. During the Clone Wars, it aligned itself with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It was the homeplanet of Saw Gerrera, a rebel during the Clone Wars.
History[]
Before the Clone Wars, Onderon was allied with the Galactic Republic. However, it seceded from the Republic during the Secessionist movement and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
During this time, rebel forces wanted to realign Onderon with the Republic. These forces were led by Saw Gerrera, Steela Gerrera, and Lux Bonteri.
The rebels fought against the Separatists on the planet, and eventually realized that they needed the Jedi to assist them. As such, they contacted the council and received help in the form of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Rex, and Ahsoka Tano. As they were only allowed to teach the rebels how to fight, Ahsoka was the only Jedi to remain on the planet with the rebels until Onderon rejoined the Republic.
