Vartan was a Human male farmer who lived on the moon Raada during the first year of the Galactic Empire. He was a farming crew lead as well as a respected leader within the community. He took Kaeden Larte and Miara Larte into his crew after they were orphaned. Vartan worked with Ahsoka Tano to organize resistance against the Imperial occupation of Raada.
